First!

I used to work in freelance IT.  I did it for a few years and as I went out to help people with their computer isssues I slowly began to lose my love of all things tech.  I couldn't believe how dumb some of the people I helped were.  They were so dumb that it made me question why I got into the job in the first place.
Since I was a child and played with my first Apple IIgs, and Commodore 64, I was hooked on anything and everything to do with technology.  As I grew up with the then new technology of personal computers and influenced by Star Trek and Star Wars I began to experiment with techy things, and started to learn myself some of the harder parts of technology.  The next logical step was to get some type job involving what I'd been teaching myself through childhood and adolescence.  So I began to freelance IT.  It started out pretty easy, and then as time went on I felt the people I was working for just couldn't wrap their minds around all this new tech.  It's like their brain just stopped caring about learning and died.  Their attittude really got to me and it affected me deeper than I probably should have let it.  I got out of that job for a while, and even stopped caring about keeping up with tech info.

This is where this little blog comes in.  Recently I've been feeling the technology bug biting me again.  I've been getting ideas about what I could attempt to make and use.  I have also been writing again, fiction.  I figured by making this blog about my latest ideas/projects/rants involving technology it could help my writing and help me keep a log of what I'm doing.  So...here...we...go...
